Manavattira Thimmaiah, MD

Dr Manavattira ThimmaiahDr. Manavattira Thimmaiah specializes in general/adult psychiatry.

He is a graduate of Mysore Medical College, Mysore, India, with M.B. and BS degrees and the Mt. Sinai residency program at Elmhurst General Hospital.

Dr. Thimmaiah is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology.

In addition to his work at SERV, he is affiliated with University Correctional Health Care at Rutgers University.

Evelyn Fabian

Evelyn FabianEvelyn Fabian is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is fluent in Spanish.

She specializes in working with children, adolescents, parents, and families. She has experience in working with individuals with trauma, depression, and ADD/ADHD.

Ms. Fabian has conducted several parenting skills workshops based on the Mind in the Making, Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP) and Strengthening Families curricula.

She received her master’s degree in social work from Rutgers University.

Carlo G. Salgado-Russo

Carlo Salgado RussoCarlo G. Salgado-Russo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

He is a graduate of Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social work.

Mr. Salgado-Russo is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.

Melissa Racklin

Melissa RacklinMelissa Racklin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with all clinical populations, including geriatric, adults, adolescents and children.

Ms. Racklin received her master’s degree from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work. She has extensive experience as an outpatient psychotherapist and has worked with many different clinical populations.

She has treated clients with disorders such as depression, generalized anxiety, obsessive compulsive, post-traumatic stress, and schizophrenic, among others. Her treatments of modality include dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive and cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, family systems, and client-centered therapy. She has conducted family therapy, marital/couples counseling, group therapy and play therapy for children.

Ms. Racklin holds her certification in clinical supervision and has supervised clinicians. She also has certification in suicide prevention.

Carol A. Albanese

Carol AlbaneseCarol Albanese is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

She has a bachelor’s degree in teaching/special education and a master’s degree in social work from Rutgers University. She has more than 10 years’ experience in the field of alcoholism and drug abuse treatment. She is a Christian who will work with individuals requesting a Christian therapist.

Ms. Albanese has 30+ years’ experience as an administrator of nonprofit organizations in a variety of community settings. She is Executive Director of Opportunity Project, Inc., a program for adults with brain injury.

She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the Governor’s Advisory Committee on Brain Injury, and Accses NJ, a state advocacy organization for people with disability and employment issues.

Linda M. Tanks

Linda TanksLinda Tanks is a New Jersey Licensed Clinical Social Worker using Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioral and Modern Psychoanalytic therapies in practice.

Her areas of specialty include an embodied approach to working with issues of trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, race, gender, physical disabilities, aging, marginalized children and families. She uses a creative approach to integrate meditation, spirituality and dream work in treatment to promote personal growth and empowerment.

Ms. Tanks is a graduate of Fordham University’s MSW program with a specialty in clinical practice. She is an alumna of The Gestalt Center of Psychotherapy and Training in New York and has trained in “Undoing Racism.”

She currently is in supervision at The Academy of Clinical and Applied Psychoanalysis in Livingston, N.J.

Ms. Tanks is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.

Charles Smith

Charles SmithCharles Smith is a Licensed Social Worker who works with individuals, families and groups. He also is a Certified School Social Worker.

Mr. Smith has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from McDaniel College, Westminster, Md., and a master’s degree in social work from Rutgers University.

He is affiliated with the National Association of Social Workers.

Heather Simon

Heather SimonHeather Simon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey and New York.

She works with clients of all ages to identify areas on which they would like to work and to help them establish goals and achieve them. She works with individuals, families, couples and groups.

Ms. Simon has a master’s degree in social work from Kean University.

Anne Maberry

Anne MaberryAnne Maberry is a Licensed Social Worker who works with families and individuals who are having trouble managing life’s challenges, including those stemming from serious mental illness, a history of complex trauma, parenting issues or difficulties with school.

Ms. Maberry has a master’s degree in social work and has had advanced training in family therapy from the Ackerman Institute for the Family in New York.

Garrett Coan

Garrett CoanGarrett Coan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in social work from New York University.

He specializes in family systems therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy.

Angelica Rodriguez

Angelica RodriguezAngelica Rodriguez is a bilingual case manager who is fluent in Spanish.

She received her bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology from The College of New Jersey.

She also is certified in CPR and First Aid.

Amanda Arroyo

Yolana Young, MD

Dr. Yolana Young specializes in adult and geriatric psychiatry.

She is a graduate of Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School and the North Shore Long Island Jewish Medical Center-Zucker Hillside Hospital in New York.

In addition to her work at Clifton Behavioral Healthcare, Dr. Young is affiliated with Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ.

Nancy T. Block, MD

Nancy BlockDr. Nancy Block practices general psychiatry at Clifton Behavioral Healthcare.

Dr. Block is a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in Newark.

For more than 40 years, she has practiced in child, adolescent, adult and geriatric psychiatry in private practice and university clinics, and before than in general practice and Planned Parenthood. She has extensive experience working with individuals with trauma and dissociative disorders.

In addition to her work at Clifton Behavioral, Dr. Block is a Clinical Associate Professor at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School, where she has taught many generations of medical students, psychiatry residents, psychology interns and ancillary professional staff.

Dr. Block is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the New Jersey Psychiatric Association (NJPA). In 2014, she received NJPA’s highest honor, the Platinum Award, for her contributions to psychiatry and the wider community.

Dr. Block writes for the New Jersey Psychiatrist and works with the National Alliance on Mental Illness to give teachers a better understanding of the needs of schoolchildren with mental illness.

Raymond E. Chong, MD

Dr. Raymond Ee-Mook Chong is a Board-certified adult/child/adolescent psychiatrist.

Dr. Chong is a graduate of Rutgers University-New Jersey Medical School. He completed his psychiatry residency at Rutgers University-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he was the recipient of the 2005-2006 Resident Teacher of the Year, as elected by medical students, and was Chief Resident in 2006-2007. He did his undergraduate work in biological sciences at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.

A Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Chong has been working in the field of outpatient adult/child/adolescent psychiatry since 2010. He is also a consulting psychiatrist for Gateway School in Carteret, NJ, a therapeutic school for children with special needs. He continues to teach as a voluntary faculty member at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Dr. Chong’s research experience includes the investigation of “Prescription Opioid Medication-Related Admissions to a University Teaching Hospital” under Dr. Jeffrey Berman, MD., Department of Psychiatry, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School; and “Internet Use Among Psychiatric Patients,” a Grand Rounds Presentation.

He is affiliated with the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
